At Polmanter we have everything you need on site for a perfect fun filled family holiday, as well as being close to the major attractions in the area. You really have the best of both worlds here and if you don’t feel like exploring, you do not need to leave the park at all.
The whole family can have fun in our heated pool with separate paddling area (open from Spring Bank Holiday to mid- September) or unwind on the spacious sunbathing terraces. For the more energetic, we have tennis courts
(for which there is a small charge), a free putting green and a large sports field for games of cricket and football or for kite flying. There are circular walks from Polmanter of various lengths to suit all abilities and the Cornish coastal footpath is only a mile away.
Further amusement for the children can be found at the two dedicated play areas or in the Games room which has video and gaming machines, pool and table tennis tables.
A visit to St Ives is essential whilst holidaying with us and our bus service runs from the park into the centre of the town at regular intervals during the day and evening. Take the stress out of your visit by catching the bus which takes you through some stunning Cornish countryside on its way to St Ives. Or follow the footpath which leads from the park across the fields, and will take you about half an hour to walk into the town. After exploring the quaint narrow streets and beautiful beaches to be found in the town, you can pick up a bus in the centre to return back to the park. Timetables vary according to season so make sure you ask at Reception before planning your trip.
